摘  要：In this talk, we will present recent results on Poisson's equation for Markov chains. For positive recurrent discrete-time Markov chains, we will consider computable bounds for solutions of Poisson's equation in terms of a Lyapunov function and a contracting condition, respectively. The bounds are further applied to derive the truncation approximation bounds for the stationary distribution，the bounds on the variance constant, and the error bounds on the difference between the empirical average and its limit value. We also compare our bounds with recent results in Herve and Ledoux (2023) by examples.

报告人简介： 刘源远, 教授，博士生导师，中南大学必赢线路检测中心主持工作副院长。1999年6月湖南师范大学数学系毕业，获学士学位；2002年6月中南大学必赢线路检测中心毕业，获概率统计硕士学位；2006年6月中南大学必赢线路检测中心毕业，获概率统计博士学位。2002年7月留校工作；2004年9月晋升为讲师；2007年4月到2008年4月在加拿大卡尔顿大学数学和统计学院(Carleton University) 作博士后研究（合作教授：Yiqiang, q. Zhao）；2008年9月晋升为副教授；2010.08月-2010.10月访问加拿大卡尔顿大学数学和统计学院；曾入选湖南省青年骨干教师，2010年10月入选中南大学育英计划；2011.11月-2012.10月在比利时布鲁赛尔自由大学作博士后研究（合作教授:Guy Latouche）；2014年9月晋升为教授。从2006年至今一直担任《美国数学评论》的评论员。担任《应用概率统计》编委。
